A Quiet Curiosity came to fruition while brainstorming gift ideas for my bridesmaids. I knew I wanted to give them a handmade gift, so I decided on stamped pendant necklaces made from stoneware clay. I loved the process of creating those necklaces and the happiness on my bridesmaids' faces when they opened their gifts. From this experience, A Quiet Curiosity was born.

I have a strong passion to live a creative life, and designing jewelry helps to fulfill that passion. I find joy in creating and I hope my jewelry can pass on that joy to those who wear it.

A little story about my very first handmade jewelry:
I can remember my first (short-lived) days trying to sell handmade jewelry. My dad taught me how to macrame in the 6th grade and I quickly became obsessed with making macrame jewelry at home, in the car, and even at school. I had a plan to create my jewelry during recess to sell to my teachers, and while I only spent a few recesses with this business, one teacher actually made a few purchases. I was excited and proud of myself, so I'd say it was a success.

Now, all these years later, I'm giving my handmade jewelry business another try and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me!
